He has experience as a project engineer of industrial heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems (from 1993 to 1998) and has been dedicated to research activities in the field of thermal engineering at the Polytechnical University of Catalonia (UPC, Terrassa, Barcelona, Spain) from 1998 to 2007.

Within his research activities have been the development of various experimental facilities; refrigeration systems modelling and simulation; numerical simulation of heat exchangers; uncertainty analysis and data processing. He collaborated in several national and international research projects (FATHERP, COMHEX, EFROST) on thermal and fluid-dynamic optimisation of heat exchangers, efficient cold food storage, and industrial process cooling optimisation based on numerical simulations. He collaborated also teaching in master and postgraduate courses on experimental measuring techniques.

In the engineering field he has experience in concept, design and execution of medium and large scale thermo-energetical systems.

Collaboration with other Companies and Institutes

energyXperts furthermore maintains a straight collaboration and can offer services with the support of the specific know-how of the following companies and research institutes:

AEE Intec

AEE INTEC, Gleisdorf (Graz), Austria

The AEE Institute for Sustainable Technologies (AEE INTEC) is located in Gleisdorf and is active in the development of scientific and technical basics for solar thermal applications, with the development of efficient energy supply systems for buildings as well as the development of sustainable technologies for water supply and sewage disposal. The pillars of these topics are the work on prototype development and the implementation of pilot projects. The institute provides beyond this their know-how and carries out planning and consultation.
